Free baggage allowance

Free baggage allowance is based on your booking class.

Free baggage allowance for the passengers in Economy Class:

Light – fare  free baggage allowance:

Hand luggage 1 piece, not more than 8 kg (115 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

check-in baggage is not allowed;

Standard and Flexi fare free baggage allowance:

Hand luggage 1 piece, not more than 8 kg (115 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

check-in baggage 1 piece, not more than 23 kg (158 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

Premium Economy class Free baggage allowance:

Hand luggage 2 pieces, not more than 12 kg (115 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

check-in baggage 2 pieces, not more than 32 kg (203 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

Business class Free baggage allowance:

Hand luggage 2 pieces, not more than 12 kg (115 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

check-in baggage 2 pieces, not more than 32 kg (203 cm by the sum of 3 dimensions);

Free baggage allowance for the children aged 2 to 12 years is the same as for the adult passengers. A child car seat is also allowed;

Free baggage allowance for the infants under 2 years - Hand luggage 5 kg; Checked baggage 10 kg (115 cm), stroller or a child car seat is also allowed;

Passengers can also take the following items by hand luggage:

Ø  An umbrella or a cane;

Ø  Women's or men's bag;

Ø  A bouquet;

Ø  A book or magazine;

Ø  Notebook, camera, video camera;

Ø  Mobile phone;

Ø  A crutch;

Ø  Products/items purchased in Duty Free;

Ø  Food for infants;

 

Please note that a maximum of 100 ml of liquid can be carried on board, which must be placed in a transparent and hermetically sealed polyethylene bag.

Please Note that in case of returning the ticket, ancillary services are not refundable both for Economy and Business class tickets.

Sports Equipment

You can transport the following sports equipment by Georgian Airways:

Ø  Bicycles and tandems can be transported as ordinary single-seater bicycle, non-motorized (tourist or racing). Both types of equipment are accepted as checked baggage and their weight should not exceed 23 kg; The bicycle and the tandem must be placed in a special travel case or in a cardboard package. Handles and pedals should be removed.

Ø  Golf equipment includes: a golf bag, a set of balls and clubs, also one pair of golf shoes;

Ø  Fishing equipment must be placed in a special packaging. The following set is allowed for transportation: A fishing tackle box or fishing bag a landing net and one pair of fishing boots.

Ø  Bowling equipment includes the following set: bowling ball, bag and one pair of bowling shoes;

Ø  Surfboard can be transported if its size does not exceed 2 meters;

Special Baggage

Prohibited goods

Please note that it is not recommended to any of the following items in your checked-in baggage:

Ø  Mobile phone, laptop, video and photo camera or other type of electronic devices and their accessories;

Ø  Cash;

Ø  Jewelry;

Ø  Pieces of Art

Ø  Official or any kinds of personal documents;

Ø  Keys;

Ø  perishable products;

In order to comply with safety norms, the following items are not allowed on board:

Ø  Improperly packed items;

Ø  Any item forbidden by any applicable laws, regulations or orders of any state to be flown from, into or over;

Ø  Firearms, ammunition, explosives, pyrotechnic material, hunting or sporting weapons;

Ø  Flammable substances such as lighters, paints and dilution liquids, as well as radioactive substances;

Ø  Flammable objects or things that catch fire easily or emit flammable gas when in contact with water;

Ø  Poisonous toxic substances, pepper spray, acids, alkaline and wet elements;

Ø  Any kind of glue or paint;

Ø  Lithium batteries;

Ø  Oxidizing substances such as bleaching powders and peroxides;

Ø  Any material that is forbidden under the rules and regulations of the countries affected by the carriage;

Missing Or Damaged Baggage

If your luggage is missing, damaged or delayed, you can file a report at the airport Lost&Found department upon arrival at your destination. The Airline reserves the right to search baggage within 90 calendar days.
